Feds back away from Trinity water shift
(CALIFORNIA) -- The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation has backed away from a proposal to take more water from the Trinity River this year, citing a 2000 Interior Secretary decision on fisheries restoration.

Three tribal fishermen missing in Columbia River
(WASHINGTON) -- Three tribal fishermen are missing after their boat capsized in the Columbia River. Skamania County Undersheriff Dave Cox said he has few details, but a family member called Wednesday to report that the men were overdue from a salmon fishing trip Tuesday night.
Three Tribes authorized to administer water quality standards program
(WASHINGTON, DC) -- During the month of April, EPA approved the applications of three Indian Tribes for treatment in the same manner as a state (TAS), making them eligible to administer the water quality standards program on reservation lands.
