Celebration gives folks a closer look at desert wildlife

Guests of Tortoise Rock Casino learned more about the animals, environment and history of the Morongo Basin at a Desert Wildlife Celebration at the casino Saturday, March 9. “Desert Wildlife Celebration is here to bring awareness to conservation protection of desert wildlife species and promote environmental stewardship,” environmental specialist Levi Anderson said.
