Failure of two more gambling petitions means no symbolic vote

Nebraskans won't have a chance to symbolically weigh in on expanded gambling at the ballot box this November. A group seeking a constitutional amendment to allow casino gambling at Nebraska horse tracks had already failed to get enough verified signatures to put the issue before voters Nov. 8. Now a pair of related measures has been rejected as well.
