This family of five lives in a laundry room, a sign of Nunavut's housing crisis

The house where Brenda Maniapik lives in Iqaluit, Nunavut, is small. It has one bedroom, one bathroom, a laundry room and a living room with an adjacent kitchen. The space is barely able to contain Maniapik and her four young children. While Maniapik has been here for seven years, it's not actually her house. In fact, her family lives in the laundry room.
