Fontainebleau Owner Now Aggressively Pursuing Casino License, Could Help Resorts World

This may finally be the year that gambling expansion makes it through the Florida legislature. According to the Herald, Fontainebleau owner Jeffrey Soffer has launched an “aggressive new push” to obtain a casino license for the Miami Beach resort. His lead lobbyist is the speaker of Florida’s House.
