G2E 2013 Poised To Have Event's Largest Show Floor Since 2008

The American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions (Reed) today released sales figures that show Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2013 is on target to have the event's largest trade show floor since the 2008. To date, more than 455 companies have registered for more than 285,000 square feet of exhibit hall space-an increase of more than 25,000 square feet, or nearly 10 percent, over 2012 sales numbers. The 2013 event also will feature more than 110 new exhibitors in 23,000 square feet of exhibit space, and 77 international exhibitors in 46,000 square feet of event space.

G2E is the premier trade show and conference event for the international gaming entertainment industry and provides gaming professionals with access to cutting-edge products and technologies, valuable networking opportunities, and unmatched educational programming. The 2013 event will be held Sept. 23-26 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

"We are extremely pleased to announce that the trade show floor at G2E 2013 will be the largest showcase since 2008 and will feature the latest technologies, products and services that will shape the business of the gaming industry for years to come," said Courtney Muller, senior vice president at Reed. "G2E is the top show in the world for the gaming industry and once again will provide attendees with a one-of-a-kind experience that will keep them at the forefront of the latest trends and insights."

Some of the largest overall sales increases have been seen in the iGaming Zone, the destination for industry leaders looking to find cutting-edge suppliers and stay abreast of the latest developments in the sector. The iGaming Zone will feature more than 19 exhibitors in 2,900 square feet of event space-an increase of 1,100 square feet-61 percent-over 2012. Between the iGaming Zone and the general trade show floor, iGaming exhibitors will be featured in more than 5,000 square feet of event space at G2E 2013.

The Food, Beverage and Hospitality Pavilion, which features products and services to help food and beverage executives enhance their menus and create the ultimate dining experience, also is seeing a large increase over 2012 sales numbers. More than 86 exhibitors with more than 5,153 square feet of event space will be in the Food, Beverage and Hospitality Pavilion-an increase of more than 2,353 square feet, or 84 percent, over 2012.

Global Gaming Expo (G2E) is the international gaming trade show and conference "by the industry and for the industry."  Organized by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions, G2E made its debut in fall 2001, defining itself as the pre-eminent show for the gaming-entertainment industry.

The AGA represents the commercial casino-entertainment industry by addressing federal legislative and regulatory issues.  The association also serves as a clearinghouse for information, develops educational and advocacy programs, and provides leadership on industry-related issues of public concern.

Reed Exhibitions is the world's leader in organizing a wide range of events, including exhibitions, conferences, congresses and meetings. In 2006 Reed brought together more than 6 million industry professions from around the world, generating billions of dollars in business. Today Reed events are held in 34 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and organized by 37 fully staffed offices. Reed's portfolio of more than 460 events services 52 key industry sectors.
