Jemez Pueblo officials: Anthony casino plan may soon take step forward

A proposal to build an American Indian casino in Anthony, N.M., is still alive and could take a significant step in the coming days, tribal officials said. Jemez Pueblo officials, during a meeting with the El Paso Times editorial board Thursday, said they expect a government environmental impact statement to be issued soon.
