Kansas Star Casino examining expenses, looking ahead to next phase

The Kansas Star Casino will be examining its expenses to improve margins, possibly appealing a $1.3 million increase in its property taxes and preparing for its next phase of expansion, according to a transcript of its operator’s conference call with analysts and investors Tuesday.
