I'm a big supporter of Rep. Mele Carroll, but I'm not a big supporter of having gambling here in our state (The Maui News, Jan. 26). I think what we could do is take a look at building apartments and commercial centers which will help to provide more jobs, more living areas for our young people that are coming out of high school and college who want to be on their own rather than going home and extending the house into different directions.
