Jarrett Burns, Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe natural resources technician, spreads Pacific Oyster shells on Sequim Bay tidelands earlier this year to improve the habitat for the Olympia oyster population. The tribe spread 2,500 bags of oyster shells, building on recent smaller but successful restoration efforts.
