Ponca Tribe prepares for brighter future with plans for $26 million health center

A folding table, a couple dozen folding chairs and a non-functioning phone. Those items constituted all the office equipment inside the first Ponca Tribe service center in Omaha when it opened 24 years ago near 69th and Dodge streets.
