Rival slot company to pay Aristocrat subsidiary $3M to settle patent infringement lawsuit

Aristocrat Technologies said Monday its Video Gaming Technologies (VGT) subsidiary settled a patent infringement lawsuit against a rival gaming company will be paid $3 million. The case against Virginia-based Castle Hill Gaming was filed in 2017, and concerned alleged infringements of certain VGT trademarks, trade dress and trade secrets.
