Some state officials pushing for non-Indian gaming

With the demise of a proposed Indian casino for the Catskills, a push to make commercial gaming legal in more places in the state is again getting attention. And with two gaming venues — Turning Stone Resort and Casino and Vernon Downs — already in Oneida County, local officials are divided over whether having many more casinos would make sense.
