| "The people of the Jamestown
S'Klallam Tribe of Sequim, Washington are greatly saddened by the events
that took place in New York and Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, September 11,
2001.
We understand that for whatever reason, these terrorists are under the misinterpretation that their cowardly deeds are divinely inspired by their God, Allah. I have news for them. There is only one Creator, no matter what He or She is called; and that Creator is a compassionate one, and would never take a human life for any reason. We are all God's children, made in the image and likeness of the Lord. There is no separation. WE ARE ALL RELATED. This is the truth of mankind. This is what we must realize and share with our brothers and sisters around the world. We must stop the senseless killing. We must stop the warmongering. We must promote peace, and live in harmony. There is enough food to go around for everyone. There is enough land for us each to live as neighbors in peace. There is enough love to live as one. Let us live in peace and love.
